Hey do you need a place to live? Like heights? Like living in a fairly small area?

Wow, am I the only one here that thinks that is amazing? I would totally live in one of those, lol. Well, maybe not live in it all the time. But I could see myself using that as a hangout spot or something. I don't know, I've seen things like studio apartments before and I've never liked them. That loft cube is kinda cool compared to them. Lots of privacy (until night time when everyone can see everything). Although I do like it, I'd have to pass. I'm trying not to be as anti-social as I once was.

That is awesome! If that had been around when I was younger I would've had one for sure. I was usually only home to eat and sleep, that would've been perfect. If things were different I'd still condider it, at least for a while.

Since I live near Chicago, I would totally consider one of those - especially if it was on a rooftop up a dozen stories. On the other hand, it does scream "High-Class Mobile Home" Eh. I'd consider it.

Then again, I *think* it's 45 square feet big... you've got to be one of those people who don't stay home to really like one of these

Um... "Not included: room dividers, kitchen and sanitary facilities (toilet and shower unit)" "..'on-roof' placement via cranes / helicopters (requires extra planning permission)."

No, it's about 566 square feet. 7.25 meters X 7.25 meters. A meter is a little over 3 feet.

Also, how many people are gonna just let you throw a house on top of their building? Or next to the beach like in that one picture?

I think it's awesome. I mean, it's probably expensive now, but in a couple of years when the price goes down, imagine it as a place for homeless people. Wouldn't take up 'precious space' at all.. Wouldn't mind living in one myself either.

seriously, who wants to live in a box on top of a biulding? Couldn't you just live IN the biulding? And who has a spare crane or freight helicopter to move it?

It's designed to be a temporary domicile, not a "dream home". And technically it is a mobile home, since it is a portable dwelling. But I imagine the price to rent or own one would be much higher than the type of mobile home you are thinking of (trailer). I think it is a very innovative idea. And a great solution for overcrowding in cities. In case you've never lived in the city, this "box" is about the size of most apartments that you would rent. And if you were going to move it I imagine that you would hire a frieght helicopter, since not many people own those personally. It really is a creative idea. And with this being the prototype, I imagine it will only get better. I can't wait to see them popping up on the rooftops.
