North Korea allows journalists sometimes - I've seen two other documentaries from inside the country besides this one. But they were the same as this ... they are taken only to the best places, and shown the propaganda films, and not allowed to break the rules, etc.
I saw one that was a full length documentary called something about Inside North Korea and it was great. They actually got to talk to regular people who work normal jobs and just live as citizens. You can see the fear in their eyes when they are asked about the 'Great Leader' ... they know the government will be making sure they say nothing but good things about their country. Or they'll probably die. |
