That is amazing. I don't think I ever even made it through the level 8 castle.

I dunno that looked aweful choppy to me. There's also many times where mario was right on top of the parana plants. I say it's a fake. Not that it couldn't be done, just this isn't it.

That game is not that difficult course I started with Mario when I was very small. Beating Mario 3 in the little froggy suit...now that is difficult. Cute but difficult.

In response to nyennaserego's comment, the disappearance of the plants is a known glitch of this game. I thought it was simply a glitch on my own game, but I later found out it was in the programming, not a scratch on the cartridge. It is 100% real, and mildly impressive. Although I did beat this game when I was 3, I did it in about 6 minutes, not 5 min. 10 seconds.

It wasn't so much the disappearance of the plants that was the thing, I saw that once which I sure don't remember them going back down in a flash like that. It's those parts of jumping over the plants that boggle me. You can actually see mario overlapping the plant. A few just look like luck and very close calls, but to there should have been death to mario when his graphic overlaps the plant.

he probably used an emulator on a PC to do that, you can play the game frame by frame and get it perfect

I have that for gameboy and I've done that many times because I was lazy. That's nothing impressive, it's just cheating.

That was impressive! :). There were a couple of times there that it looked like Mario should have died (hammer brother in 8-3) ...but either way cool!

Nice one mate, trial and error is all it is anyone can do it, but congratulations none the less. However seeing SM64 completed in quick time was much more impressive.

I was reading your posts about it not being true, and thought you were overthinking it, but I watched it and I TOTALLY agree. I even paused it while mario was up to his waist in piranha plant and lived to tell the story. FAKE
