Meh, seen it before. It is interesting that a big time magazine would publish an 8-page article refuting Creationism. They must feel really threatened by it.

When it comes right down to it, you just have to ask yourself - where did everything come from? Something doesn't come from nothing, people.

Evolution does not deal with where everything came from, it deals with what happened afterwards.

As for feeling "threatened" by it, just because you refute someone else's argument it doesn't mean you feel threatened.

Historically, Evolutionists in the scientific commuinty have refused to debate Intelligent Design, for such a confrontation would seem to validate Creationism as a rival scientific theory. Not until the past five years have I seen Evolutionists come out in such force against creationism - it's really an interesting phenomenon.

Anyway, I'm beating a dead horse here, sorry.

Intelligent Design is not and cannot, by its very nature, ever be a scientific theory.

Yeah, I never said that it was.

But that doesn't mean that the theory can't have scientific aspects along with those parts that are theistic, nor that it contradicts any proven scientific knowledge out there.

I'm just saying it's interesting how much evolutionists are willing to debate creationists nowadays. I don't really want to debate the issue right here and now.
