| | It has been raining here pretty much non-stop for a month and a half. It is July 13th, and I still ahve to wear a jacket to work in the mornings because it's so bloody cold. I swear, it's weather to kill yourself by. All I want is a suuny day. Where the hell is summer? I'm seriously entertaining the thought of moving to Spain. GAH! |

| | I got paid yesterday, and on top of my salary, I got my annual bonus. So, very excited at the prospect of having extra money, I booked the day off specifically to shop. So I spent nearly four hours in the centre of Leeds, allegedly the best shopping district outside of London, with more than £500 practically burning a hole in my debit card, and you know what I bought? An Xbox game for my husband, two magazines, some soap and a box of chocolates. |

| | But unlike the song, I know exactly when I'll be back again. sheady and I are leaving for Canada bright and early tomorrow morning, and I suspect it will be the day from hell. We have to catch the train at five in the morning in order to get to London in time for our flight. We're leaving home at four, so I'm torn as to whether or not I should even go to bed. I'm hoping that I'll be able to sleep for a bit on the train and during the flight. And then I get to spend two weeks trying to keep from belting my mother because she drives me insane! Happy Christmas to ME! Hey - at least it's two weeks off work, right? |
