So, I got an email today.. it was a newsletter. Weird. It was addressed to a name that's not mine, though. Did this happen to everyone? Or was it an alter I've long forgotten of? Either way, it was glad to hear form you guys. Thanks! So.. about 180-odd days later, have an update: - I'm still living with the same old dude in the same old place in Oakland. - I'm still going to the same old art school on the same old hill. - I'm still a lover of vinegar and chisels. - My goldfish, Diego, is still alive. (Although I've gifted him to another.) - I'm still making such glorious objects and loving the smell of sawdust. - I'm still a preschool teacher (although I'm ending that come June). - Hm. Not sure what else. -Ask me if you please, I suppose. Whatever. So, what else is new?

We went to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. It was modern, and fun, and things. Then we ate at 'O La La'. Ha! He's so lovely! A lot less weird than I expected. ( ) And he has one of the coolest full names I've ever known. Okay, so.. pictures: Cheesey and a llama-type object I made for him. His name is Scoots. Various vagrant-type objects, or not. Market Street I love you. Alien dice and an odd mall. We were just there to look down. A dead Scoots.

I know how it got there, but I still refuse to believe the irony. There's cadmium yellow on the outside front of my underwear. (The vagina part.) And a colbalt streak on the right side of my butt (on the skin). Hilarious if you know why. Wrong, if you don't. I was drawing, then I didn't want paint on my skirt.. so I took it off. Then it was too hot with the sun filling the studio so I took my top off. And why wear a bra at that point? Gone. And I didn't care for paint in my vagina, so I left the underwear on.. with an apron, and an iPod in the apron pocket and Andrew's giant-sized headphones telling me Coco Rosie, Feist, and Blonde Redhead on shuffle. After 6 hours I'm about 1/8 - 1/6 done with this piece(s?). Blah! I don't know if that estimate is close, though.. I'm stitching a lot in it too. This isn't really for you, although I'm sure you care. It's for record-keeping, history-writing's sake of mine.
