I`m a PhD student researching the way people learn English as a foreign language at Liverpool University. Many of you probably know I just returned from seven years in South Korea and I`m staying at my mum`s house in St Helens with my wife. (test)

| | this is a mad storm. I hope there's no serious damage. Yesterday a helicopter seemed very concerned with this part of town. I wonder if that was related? any way I want a kebab or a pizza. Or an egg sandwich from Itaewon. Frogs sound happy tonight! |

| | in the UK you have to register as a MPhil student for a while and prove that you're capable of getting a PhD finished to get them to upgrade your registration. I got the clear a few weeks ago. I'm just waiting to talk to the dept. director to get it all formalised!!! i can't wait to see it on my registration~~~ who else has had to have this upgrade? is it a PhD that Warrick is just finishing? |

ever tried doctor fish? - Mood:Good |

| | hehe it was an interesting first experience I had today in Korea-you sit with your legs in a bath full of small 'doctor' fish and they nibble your feet and clean all the dry skin and stuff!! it was quite relaxing except for one big b**tard that seemed to have extra sharp teeth. Ever done this? what country does it come from? it seems like a new craze in Seoul |
