So do you have certain staples you tend to make a lot and if so what are they? Do you do like Taco Tuesday, Pizza Friday, etc?

And if you are up to it, post what you had for dinner either in a pic or tell. I remember we used to have a thread like this and it was kind of interesting.

Today. Cucumber, parsley, tomato, quinoa, lemon, red onion

I eat a LOT of salads for lunch/dinner.
Don't be fooled that it's healthy all the time, though. I'm guilty of smothering salads in ranch and cheese. And potato salads, pasta salads, etc.

I so wish I were into veggies like that. Salads are so colorful and look so good.

That is yummy looking. I'd probably put some vinaigrette on it.
I'm still eating weird hospital food

I'm lucky to love vegetables. I know a lot of people find them bitter or bland.

That looks delicious! I LOVE veggies.

It's pretty good! Postal's idea of a vinaigrette would be a good variation too.

I am a super taster, so I blame that on why I cannot get used to them.

My husband would rather have a delicious salad with blue cheese than a hot fudge sundae, though. I have kind of put him in charge of teaching the kids to like those kinds of foods. One day they are going to ask why mommy doesn't eat salads, though...

My regulars are beef and cheese enchiladas, spaghetti Bolognese, tuna casserole, burgers, and chicken pitta's with Greek salad and lemon potatoes. Recently have added salmon and roast veg and chicken banh mi to the menu.

I make beef strogonoff a lot, and creamy chicken pasta concoctions. Or sometimes I'll just roast a sweet potato and some beetroots and just have a bowl of that with boiled broccoli

I cook big pots of Chilli, Bolognese and Chicken Curry and freeze it in portions. I use turkey mince instead of ground beef.

Chilli is Mince Kidney beans, Sweetcorn Diced peppers Onion Tomatoes.

Bolognese is Mince, Onions Mushrooms Tomatoes

Curry is Chicken thighs and wings cooked until fallen off the bones, Lentils, Chick Peas, Butternut Squash, Cauliflower, Carrots, Swede.

I eat fish twice a week and usually have a stir fry too.

If I eat beef or lamb once a week it will be a good quality steak or lamb leg casseroled with Cous Cous.

2nd meal is a bowl of salad and I have a fruit bowl too.

When the Lockdown started I put on 10 pounds before I had a heart attack 2 months later, but now I lost the 10 pounds in 5 weeks.

I have much spaghetti in my tummy.

Spaghetti is one of our staples.

Pasta used to be a staple before I got married but my husband can't stand the texture. We do a lot of burgers, chicken, fish, pizza. Last night I just made some simple beef burritos. Tonight...I'll probably do some taco chicken bowls, which is just chicken breasts, ranch seasoning, taco seasoning, black beans, corn, and cream cheese. Cook it in the crockpot all day (I don't add the cream cheese until i get home), shred when i get home from work. Put it on s tortilla or in a bowl with shredded cheese and you're good to go.

Crock pot with vegetables chicken and some kind of stir fry sauce mixed with rice out of the rice cooker.

Or fried rice with eggs and vegetables made with olive oil.

Or noodles with tahini, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder and and hot pepper flakes.

Or whatever leftovers I can find at my parents my grandmothers or my grandfathers house. Usually this happens on a weekend.

Peanut butter sandwich with a glass of milk for dessert.

And eggs on toast for breakfast.

My brother bought me smoked pork chops though.

So I’m going to have a second smoked pork chop for dinner tonight.

The ones we tend to cycle round are:

-Vegetable chilli: Recipe link
-Chickpea curry (we add roast cauliflower and peppers): Link
-Potato and aubergine curry: Link
-Moroccan chickpea soup: Link
-Spicy root vegetable and lentil casserole: Link
-I've recently been trying Adam Ragusea's "recipe" for vegetable soup, with some other stuff like celeriac thrown in: Link

For quick/lazy meals, it's usually burritos, pasta using whatever beans/vegetables need using, or some store bought bean burgers.
We don't eat out or get take-out much (probably once every 3 or 4 months).

I'd present you with a banana but it might appear inappropriate.
