Actually, let's reverse the title. Peppers first. I got a sub sandwich today and I asked for crushed red peppers so the woman puts on slices of some green hot pepper. What made her think that was cool? First, I asked for crushed red peppers. Did she not notice that the peppers she applied where not crushed? And secondly, I asked for red peppers, which these clearly were not. It was pretty obviously not crushed red pepper, and I am mangry about it. (Yes, mangry...a mixture of mad and angry...) Disney. I miss Disney like whoa. I might even try to get a real job there when I move back. At any rate, let's discuss Disney. What are your thoughts? Have you ever ridden the best ride ever...Space Mountain? I it. Last...midwesterners. I am not one for stereotypes, but these people are so collectively weird. And, I think they are precisely what is wrong with America.

Its southerners that are everything wrong about this country.

Yes, midwesterners suck. Every last one of them.

Did you tell the lady that she was putting the wrong peppers on your sub?

Theme parks disgust me. They're too expensive, too crowded, you have to wait forever to ride just one ride, and did I mention that they're really expensive?

I have a friend who works at Disneyworld. Well, an old coworker who I haven;'t talked to since he moved to Florida. So not really a friend as much as a guy I used to know.

I think you are over generalizing on the midwesterners. And they think the same thing about the south.

Yes...they do a large part as well. But I understand them, and midwesterners are a crazy mystery.

I did not tell her, for I had called the order in ahead of time.

And theme parks are only too crowded if you go in peak seasons. Outside of that timeframe, the parks are nearly dead and awesome.

well give us some examples of how midwesterners are, you can't just make a blanket statement without some examples! I demand more

First: I would be annoyed about the peppers. I hate it when people can't follow basic directions.

Second: I love Disney! I would have worked there when I lived in Central Florida, but they didn't pay as much as my tiny little teacher salary. I have ridden Space Mountain, many times. I love it, but it's not my favorite. I'd have a hard time picking a favorite.

Last: I completely agree with your assessment of Midwesterners. My soon to be ex husband is from Oklahoma, and he's the biggest idiot on the planet.

You could always have sent the sub back.

I think it's BOTH the south and the midwesterners!

Haha. I originally wrote a lot more, but I wanted to keep it to under 1000 characters.

Basically, it is my feeling that midwesterners have a very flawed perception of this country. I think that Nancy Grace, Dateline, Dr. Phil, and Oprah (among countless others) all share a part in that responsibility. It's a great thing to have your own opinions about things, and midwesterners seem to just take the opinions given to them by their preachers, parents, and the media. Not that all of America doesn't, but not to nearly the same extent.

It's totally possible. For instance, I live in the South and I'm not racist.

Hellz no. It did very recently get an upgraded loading deck.

It's over 30 years old, and the only real renovation in recent terms has been the loading dock, the building itself got painted, and the ride system was replaced. But, being a 30 year old ride makes it break down really often. People complain about it, but there's not much we can do. It's just outdated stupid technology at work.

That's my main issue with Space. Having worked there I've memorized the ride, and it's not as fun.

hehe. I rememebr when I was little, I was scared to ride it. Everyone I knew, who had been on it, said it was super scary and they were ghost white when they came out, and they screamed so much, and yada yada......
When I finally got the courage to go on it...I felt like a tard becasue it was fun..not scarey. hehe.

grrr. I should make plans to go back soon. I havent used my pass since I paid for it! eeps!
