I am using my new Kindle Fire to access YT and type this! I was excited to find out that I can access Pandora and do audio books as well. I'm still trying to figure it all out...

it's not just you..I used to get 2 or 3 a day..now it's a rare day I grab one..and a lot are repeats.. |

I've noticed the repeats too, and the crap. Maybe 1/20 is worth a try... and lately I've been reading the first chapter or so and giving up. When I'm distracted from the story itself by proofreading out of sheer desperation, it's no fun.

Good, I'm glad it's not just me then.
A lot of them are just pure crap; though I admit I hate romance novels, so none of the ones they post interest me at all.

Haha, I didn't read that one. Some of the romance ones I grab- - Amazon Lily was kind of campy and cute- - in that "I know I'm being campy and cute, that's the point" way, and I actually enjoyed that one a lot.

I was wondering the same re: Pixel of Ink. Tho I HAVE snagged a couple in the past few days that seem promising, most of them I could do without. Mysteries and romance novels (both badly written) seem to be the draw.

I stumbled upon a Pixel of a romance author that I'd tried before and hated.... this time around, freaking LOVED. I don't like my stories set in current times. I read to escape, to be taken somewhere (somewhen) ELSE- - future or past, but not NOW.

Which do you like the best/least? My Fire
-What is that opinion based on? My parents kindles. I like searching for books more on the fire, and the touchscreen is easier to use. Plus its backlit so I can read in bed while husband sleeps and dont have to use an annoying book light.
And the tablet features are great too
Is there anything you'd like to add/ask?
I love the samples. And all the free books.
And all the doomsday novels that I would have otherwise never found in real life bookstores.
