Well, so I'm an August grad now. My advisor screwed me over. AGAIN.
Oh well. At least it's all done.
We found, purchased, and ordered THE wedding dress! WOOO!
Speaking of wedding, major congrats to Tess and Chris! Still need to send a PM to the newly engaged couple...maybe after Jack wakes up.
So we ordered our bridesmaids dresses. Well, we picked them out but are still waiting on our ladies to call in their sizes.
Grrrish! The bridal shop is hounding me. Completely understand why, but wow. They are worse then the dentist.
"If you don't have them all ordered by Friday, it'll be too late and they'll have to be naked in your wedding."
Thank you for your invaluable advice! Wow! I had no idea we were running so late!

They could be, yes. But I'm not paying $800 for 6 naked ladies! Ah, the wedding is going swell. The dress was the hard part--we're up to date now. We have to keep telling people that this wedding is going to be as stress-free as possible. :) Eloping is great. I thought of eloping at the Sandals resort. Beach, ocean, and you're good. |

Sandals sounds like a plan!!! But alas, I don't think our parents would ever speak to us again, which would cut out a lot of free babysitting if we ever need it. |

Well, they're not old. Just conservative. Two of them don't shave their legs or pits. God put them durn hairs there for a reason! Eh, then Sandals is out for bwaybound, sadly. It would so romantic. But free babysitting is very important. I always tell Trav that if we were to move to Wichita (my home area) that his parents would never speak to me again. Annnnnnnnnd...Jack is up. Woo. |

It actually is exciting. I've had a long summer with school, but it's pretty much over. The wedding is real, and I'm working out two-three hours a day. It would be more but our DVD player broke and the pilates dvds won't play in a VHS (duh).

Yeah I know how you feel. When my husband and I got married the women at the dress shop was just like the soup natzi on Sienfield. "You must have all of the girls in here by this date or no dresses will be made do you understand me young lady." She was a crazy old lady. Very nice dresses but crazy crazy lady. I so wanted to just elope. I feel extra compassion for you trying to set up a wedding with a lil one in tow. Good luck to you.

Those places are annoying, but the place where we found the gown really wasn't so bad. It's just the stupid bridesmaids dresses. It's just a stupid dress anyway. REALLY now! The wedding is actually fun. We have pretty much everything set up sans a few minor details. Jack really hasn't made much a difference yet. So far the only issue with him is that we don't know exactly with whom he will be staying during our honeymoon! |
