We're talking like... A-typical for either band good. Like, not A-typically astounding, but we're talking a deviation. It's a lot less rappy/growly for either band, and a lot more melodic. Not like MELODIC melodic, but melodic for them. However, it suits both of them for this split and adds a lot of variety to their discography.
The coolest thing about it is that it seems like both bands used their songs to achieve a direction, which is something VERY rare in a split.
It's pretty unique. Best thing I've seen come out in a while.
