We left home at 7:30AM, got to the trailhead by 10:30, summited by 3PM, got back to the car by 7:15PM, and back home at 10PM. It was fairly brutal, mostly because it was so much actual climbing. Most 14ers are just hikes but we had helmets on this one. One final pitch was class 3 (which really isn't that bad but it just killed my legs.) I loved the whole thing and took like 60 pics (that I kept, I had taken 200.) I only posted about six though, so here you go.

Link to photos!

The weather was absolutely perfect and I believe in one you can see a 33K+ acre fire in the background along the horizon.

Thanks! I actually felt so great today that I walked to work.

If you've ever had a Coors Light you've seen this mountain. It's an icon.

It's WAY more impressive than Coors Light.

Haha true. I actually took a can of Lizard Head Red from Steamworks Brewing here in Durango up there because it's RIGHT THERE from the top. So pretty!

It's a reminder of why I love this part of the country. Everywhere has its own beauty though, and I'm pretty excited to explore some of it!
