Since it was my first time I didn't carve enough out of the bottom to make a deep foot therefore I couldn't glaze it without it possibly sticking to the kiln when it baked. Next time I'll have more confidence in my skills and I'll have all that naked ceramic covered up!

I really like your plates

I like the splatter ones 2nd (4th) from the bottom...they're on trend right now..

I can't decide which ones I like better. They're all so lovely.

Hey what did you end up calling your store?

Good job. Those look great.

I want one.

Thanks y'all! My favorites are the green ones and the sandy looking ones that fade from blueish to dun.

Spoon, I have a membership in a studio that has about a dozen members. It's nice because I can either see everyone or no-one depending on how I'm feeling.

Slinks, I named my shop Altitude Ceramics and I have a website but my current workplace buys all the things I make right now so there's nothing online.

these are pretty

my favorite is the last one

That last one was too big to fit in the bucket with the glaze so I had to pour the glazes on with cups. I like the look. What I want is an easy way to get rid of the lines on the other plates.

is it easy making the plates?

i would imagine so, but some may find it very easy.

I was told by everyone I know who plays with clay that plates thrown on the wheel are really difficult but I didn't think they were too hard. It has to do with the plates warping after they are fired the first time which didn't happen this time.

I like the green one too.

You're website shop is empty. Fill it up.

Unless you are busy spinning plates

could be a potential hobby of mine, I've always wanted to try pottery honestly.

I try to get things made for the website but it's difficult to a) make enough because it's a side gig and b) all the things I make are bought outright by my current workplace. Future money isn't as good as money right away. It will happen though! I'm so ready to have something online.

Puckle, take a class! See if it's something you like! Halzberry is really good at it and has much more of an online presence than I do right now.

I totally get it. You are making stuff and have a buyer. Just take pics and make a portfolio like you are doing.

Dooooo it! It's so much fun. At first it's just little things and crappily done but with practice you get nicer looking items for sure.
