I know you are all certified doctors, so let me tell you some personal information so you can diagnose me with various terminal diseases.

I started my period when I was 13. I am 17 now, and had a pretty regular cycle. I would bleed for 5-7 days a month, with a 24 day lapse in between. However, my periods are now irregular. In four days, I will have had my period for thirty days straight.

Anybody else ever have that issue?

I am not on medication, including birth control, and am not sexually active. Unless masturbation counts

The only pain I've had is in my legs and back. I thought that my period was over yesterday, but the sneaky bastard came back.

Yeah bring it accross to OS, it's a bit slower but you'll prob get more accurate responses.

Technically it's not sh*t. It is blood and uterine lining.

Preggers.

I have the same problem. Have you been to a gyno? It's most likely ovarian cysts and the pill usually sorts it out.

the pill sorts everything out.
8 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Tuesday 2/28/12 - 7:44:02 PM EST (GMT-5)
Including being preggers.

yeah, the pill can really help regulate things down there, so if you can afford it i'd recommend taking it anyways (unless there's a medical reason why you shouldn't or it makes you nauseous) as it'll most likely clear up any issues.

Isn't it about thirty dollars a month? I think I could do it.

No sex=no preggers. Unless immaculate conception occurs, with I would not be happy about. Or rape, which I also would not be happy about.

yeah, it's really not too expensive at all. some insurance plans even cover it, i think.

it'd probably be worth it just for the regulation bit itself
at least i'd do it if i had lady parts.

pft, sex doesn't make babies, everyone knows it's bathing in water a guy has bathed in.

Come back in late July and show us. Until then, its inappropriate.

...what are you asking her to show us
8 yrs ago, 9 mos ago - Tuesday 2/28/12 - 9:00:58 PM EST (GMT-5)
I imagine it's theoretically possible, but the chances are probably infantesimal. I mean, doesn't sperm need to be at a certain temperature to survive? I can't imagine it lasts very long in water.

I swam across the Thames before entering my moms vag, and finding the egg.

You should see your doctor. It might be nothing to worry about but abnormal or irregular menstruation can be an indication of a potentially serious condition and your doctor will probably administer several tests to determine the cause. Please don’t wait or hope it will just get better. There could be serious complications from waiting.

Thirty days straight? Yeah, definitely go see a doctor. Something's up.

I had/have issues like that.

Perfect periods for the first 5 years then, no period for 4 months.... turned out I was low on iron and that stopped my periods.
Then super long period after taking iron pills/shots.

Apparently low iron leads to your blood vessels not constricting properly and leads to more than normal bleeding and more bleeding leads to even less iron etc. etc.

Go to the doc, they won't probe you or anything, will just give you a blood/urine test. Check your hormones, iron, any blood disorders etc. And you might get an ultra sound (over your stomach) to make sure you don't have any cysts (which are not as horrible as they sound).

My last "fun period" was 6 months of periods plus almost daily spotting. And then turned out I had a kidney stone and that was possibly causing the spotting, now I am happy and fine.
