I'm trying to pack all my sh*t right now. Flight leaves tomorrow morning and I can't believe it. Life has been so different for what feels like so long that I can't imagine how I'm just going to up and leave, not to see these amazing people I've met or be at these beautiful places again for who knows how long. Tonight I'm having a going away party with all the people I met in Germany, and it should definitely be a night to remember. This summer I fell in love several times over: In love with Rebeka from Madrid, Robert from Berlin, Kris & Janay from Amsterdam, Daniel from Belgrade, Verena from Aachen, and I'm head over f*cking heels for Kye from Hamburg. There's still enough sun out for one final bike ride, and I can't believe how strange it is to be anything at all. |

Work training starts in a week, work at the paper starts shortly after that. School starts in a month. Bills to pay, furniture and clothes to move, and new housemates to meet. I have to move into my new apartment when I get back, except the subletter will still be there, so I am tentatively homeless for about a week. Hph. Life goes on.
