See a stylist who's certifiably insane.

They're the only ones who wouldn't immediately turn down someone asking for a mohawk.

Why do you want to get a mohawk? To be different? BEcause you're just trying to fit in with the crowd really.

No, because I want one. I like that style. Is that not allowed? I fit in with the crowd well enough thanks.

Why do people always assume that people have some sort of motive behind every change of look other than they just want to do it. Not everybody struggles to try to be different/the same.

screw the eggs, elmer's glue is more than enough. and DO NOT pay money for it, find someone who has a set of electric clippers and get them to do it free of charge.

Because every single kid I've seen with a mohawk goes around saying "oh I gotta rebel" and all that sh*t. They don't realize they're hardly rebelling if everyone is doing it.

Why aren't they rebelling? If people who are rebelling have formed a rebellious subculture which involves getting a mohawk then if you in fact get a mohawk then you are rebelling. Doesn't matter how many people are doing it if it isn't a social norm.

That's a contradiction in terms right there. Surely if more people are doing it then more people are rebeling? I'm not going to be rebelling, I just want a different hair style

If you're going to get a mohawk, make sure it's not too big...

why's that? i mean, aside from comfort issues(and they are plentiful), why, if you're going to do something, not do it fully and completely?

See what I mean, people attach social stigmata to any change in appearance. When one of my mates had a mohican people used to automatically think he was going to cause trouble. He just had one because he felt like having one because he liked the way it looked. He was still the same person as he was before he had one.

Because they don't stand up and they flip-flop everywhere.

(Insert joke about John Kerry here)

I'm with you on that... I knew a guy by sight who had a mohawk... I actually got to know him at climbing this year when he'd got rid of it, he's got it back now, and it's not so he's a rebel, it's just that he likes it.

Shame he's actually got no c*ck...
