So whenever I tell my mom about a new person I'm talking to online from another country she asks me about their food. So I thought for a mother's day gift, I'd make a cookbook of recipes from friends around the world. You can contribute as much as you want. Ideally including photos and descriptions (and fun trivia!) but even just the recipe is fine. And I'll make the final cookbook available for everyone so you can buy one if you want. Also, here's a song I wrote that I'm pretty proud of: https://soundcloud.com/joe-obrien-713355 853/q2/s-h3rLt?in=joe-obrien-713355853/s ets/q-1/s-PONxA

My mom’s family makes something out of the Midwest called poppyseed chicken. I don’t know if that qualifies. It’s mostly butter and cream soups over rice.

Aren't there still many Americans that cook the foods of their immigrant ancestors?
