Sending good vibes to the Bills. If they ever go against the Chiefs again just know I'm rooting for them - I would love to see Patrick absolutely devastated again

Hey thanks.

I’m the reason everyone went to Discord, though.

Right?

It's probably me.

or it might be both of us.

or it might be the frequency of crashes of the YT site.

It’s Bills game day.

I’m going to have a beer.

I just got a good amount of healthy yelling in.

Woke up early and went to church with my parents. I think it was a good metric that I’m getting the right message out of my Bible readings. I didn’t feel challenged with what I’ve been taking away from time spent in the word. It was reaffirming and a vote of confidence.

Even if I was a little hungover and overtired.

Plus I think I had to give an extra special thanks for that Bills win.

Going to watch the Chiefs game carefully.

And will root for the Saints tonight.

I think that the Bills have a good chance to beat KC.

Well especially with Mahomes status up in the air.

So I guess I’m boring. Wah. I’m so boring. You just don’t know. I’m so not boring. I do things. I try hard.

Like tonight. And last night. I programmed a robot to calculate geometry. And I did it correctly. And it wasn’t simple geometry.

I was stumped by one dimension tonight though. It might have been possible with some applied trigonometry. Or possibly if I had programmed the location of the features so they were on the same plane. But I don’t know how to do that. I would have had to figure it out. And I really didn’t have time to figure it out. If I could have measured the distance between center points and subtracted the radii it would have worked. But sometimes you can see geometry and you can’t make the geometry. Kind of like Escher and his tricks.

Oh right. Winter.

There’s been flurries on and off. Just dustings. It’s been kind of cold. My car window froze shut. I’ve been meaning to leave them cracked so that doesn’t happen. Forgot today.

One of my tires lost pressure too. I’m not sure if it was the cold and pressure change or if someone is trying to negatively impact my snow tire life and gas mileage.

I’m out of ice cubes so this is my last Gin Fix.

Happy Inauguration Day!

I solved my geometry problem again. At least in the context of the software. I knew how in theory. But I managed to tell the computer my theory and it listened.

It’s been cold. And I have a dentist’s appointment tomorrow. Not related. But I’m up early today because I have to be up early tomorrow. But I also am up in time to get coffee today.

And I’m spoiling myself with a breakfast sandwich from the coffee shop.

But...

I’ll probably go to the coffee shop sooner than later.

Also I am defaulting to snow button mode in my car. Even if it’s not snowing. I’m just being careful in case of black ice or something.

And someone messaged me on Tinder. I met them when I was in college. I’m really not sure what’s supposed to happen next.

Oh and my beer from the beer club is supposed to arrive tomorrow.

Conveniently the pharmacy across the street is a Fed Ex drop off point. Because I’m supposed to sign. So then I can go to the pharmacy and get my beer medicine.

Four wheels four bolts for nuts four washers one plastic clip and two screws.

My aunt wants it for carrying groceries.

Had to really flex the metal a bit on a couple things.

Con bag.

I’m not sure how it handles in the snow.
1 month ago - Thursday 1/21/21 - 11:20:56 AM EST (GMT-5)

Oh hey look there’s a horse.

Preceded by and following something.

Is this before or after?

Is the thread moving down?

But in time I was before.

But you have to make a horse first to put a cart in front of it...?

I’m not sure.

Dashing through the snow...in a one horse open sleigh...

One thing always follows a live horse. The deposit of horse sh*t.

In news I just don’t want to play along. I think the two sides of the narrative are too strongly narrative. And now that it’s people demanding policy over values I’d rather try and frame it more in context concerning values. Single payer or higher taxes. Gas prices or global warming. Legal or illegal citizenship.

I think there’s a difference of substance in where people place their hope and people can appreciate something more if they stop believing that the other side is strangling people. But power strangles people. Power necessitates taking power. But I simply happen to believe that systems are burdened with bureaucracy. And some people thing with proper management bureaucracy does more social good.

And honestly I think that’s not a bad thing to believe. But I question the ability for it to work in a system as unique as the US.

But the more pressing matter is that if I don’t go buy baby carrots my hummus might go bad.

*think

And also I’m stressing about the dentist kind of.

One because it’s a time crunch before work and two because I always seem to have a little hidden cavity on the X-ray or something.

I have somewhat subpar dental hygiene. But you know what they say about looking in a horse’s mouth.
