so last week i was freaking out, thinking i had either a uti or an std. i would feel a bit of a burning sensation towards the end of my pee stream.

i've had a uti before, so i figured it was that. but then i was thinking.....gonorrhea.
i am a little of a hyperchondriac, so in the past, i have looked up all of the known symptoms of every known std, and since peeing didn't feel like my urethra was being torn to shreds by a billion pieces of glass, i figured it wasn't Gono. but i had to make sure.

so i went to the clinic, took a urine test. everything came back clear. even my URINE was clean.
so they did a culture test.....still clean!

so now i'm thinking it's either chlamydia or....i'm just not drinking enough water.

i've been guzzling water these past two days, and i haven't felt that light burning sensation. i was pretty dehydrated the weekend it showed up.
Does that happen?

I don't know why they would only test for gonorrhea and not chlamydia. That's weird.

Anyway maybe it's random irritation from soap or rubbing the wrong area during sex.

they didn't test for any std, just the potential uti. which came back as negative.

so i have scheduled a gyno visit for a full std screening. even though the burning has stopped. i just wanna make sure.

but i have never heard of burning piss from dehydration.

I hope you are OK! I know that personally, because of my anatomy, I get a lot of irritation. I don't get UTIs but my urethra is so close to my vaginal opening (more than what is "average"). So sometimes sex causes it to get irritated, or more recently, even using tampons have caused it to feel a bit torn and then it gets a bit itchy.

Oh yes! I remember I was using this glycerine Cranberry soap. (I seriously think this was the cause, because as soon as I stopped using it, no more issues)
I got a UTI AND and a yeast infection. I had just had my first yeast infection the month, and here it was again. I was miserable.
