Until my favorite holiday. Yes, Valentines is my favorite holiday.

I know a lot of people hate it. They say it is cheesy. Or they say they don't need a specific day to be extra romantic towards their partner.

I love the reds and pinks, the roses and chocolate, the going out on a date. Even as a child I love exchanging those cheap Valentine cards with each other in homemade Valentine day mailboxes we made in class.

So do you have any plans or are you among one of the haters?

We have no plans but our Anniversary falls on the day after. 12 years. Time to plan...

My girlfriend lives in Kansas but we're both going to send each other treats and things

I may be going to Miami for V-day. I'm usually utterly single on V-day. Last year, was the first time I had a valentine, and it was a disaster. Hopefully, this year will be better.

I'm really not fussed about Valentine's Day but I will use it as an excuse for a nice meal.

I'll be at work.

I like Halloween, NYE, and other people's birthdays.
Valentine's is ok. Nothing against it.

Still no plans.

Do you plan the date or does he or do you decide together?

No plans, but I do cheesy things for my kids and husband. I got the idea a few years ago online, and it has became a tradition to put a cut out construction paper heart on the wall for each of them with something I love about them everyday.

Husband usually gets me a new plant and that makes me happy.

I'm one of the haters.
Marrying someone on Valentine's day will do that.

Working. Maybe eat a chocolate.

I'm not big on it. My dad used to buy really cheesy crap for my mom and I thought it was really cute. But for myself, I'm not bothered by it and I've never made a big deal out of it.

I'm generally not much of an occasion person. I'll just eat the cake.

We plan it together. Last night I asked him what he wanted to do and got the usual "I don't know. What do you want?" and it will go round and round until one of us caves in and makes a suggestion.

My father used to buy my mother a box of chocolate every Valentines Day (even after they divorced) because he would get me one. They were actually really good friends for several years before he died.

It has been decided. We are going to an Italian restaurant that we have never been to before. It was my choice. He agreed. He already made the reservation.

I went out to a restaurant for Valentine's Day exactly once.

Too many people!

My grandparents owned a flower shop and called Valentine's Day Valloween because it was a hellscape of roses.

I just like candy.

I miss him. It really sucks that my kids will never get to meet him. He would have loved them more than anything.

My neighbors are yelling at the TV

I don't celebrate Valentine's Day but that won't stop me from buying a ton of chocolate. I'm happy it's February, though... I'm not a fan of winter but I really like this month.

Post-valentines day chocolate sales?
15 days ago - Sunday 2/2/20 - 10:52:32 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yep! My favorite are the strawberry creme Hershey's and the caramel filled ones.

I am going to try to not eat any Italian food while out until Valentines Day so maybe my meal will be extra delicious.
