Vacuum check
Laundry going check
Everything else in limbo

For New Year's Eve, I am going to see a friend's band play. I can walk there which is nice.

I bought some captain hats?

And light up flower crowns to share

I don't know about the hats...that is what happens when you get bored at work.

Earlier, I got stuck in this new thrift store dress. I didn't realize there was a side zipper and tried to pull it over my head. Finally wriggled out.

Hmmm!
Should've bought robe and pipe too.

Well, i cleaned quite a bit tonight and feel good about it.

Good night. Dead website.

I keep reading this as "tonight I'm cleaning the internet"
26 days ago - Sunday 12/29/19 - 3:13:04 AM EST (GMT-5)
Oh, I wish I could scrub the internet until it is shiny and glowing and fresh and clean and new again.
26 days ago - Sunday 12/29/19 - 9:28:00 AM EST (GMT-5)
That would be hard. I hear there's some really dirty parts in New Jersey.

I would love to clean today but I hurt my back.
26 days ago - Sunday 12/29/19 - 6:19:59 PM EST (GMT-5)
Cleaning for me has been crawling around and trying to pick stuff up that way, as I cannot hold things and use my crutches at the same time.

Aw, you poor things. Hope you feel better ladies

You need one of those grabber tools!

Maybe a cane to hit the man and kids and snarl at them to clean up.

I love going to shows. That sounds like a great way to spend New Years Eve.

I buy so many strange impulses at work that I'm ashamed to let a cashier see it so I always use a self checkout. This Halloween I spent $50 on glittery false eyelashes and striped pantyhose.
26 days ago - Sunday 12/29/19 - 9:45:38 PM EST (GMT-5)
I feel like almost anything goes when it comes to near-Halloween fashion/makeup/candy purchases, tbh. But I admit to using the self-checkout for impulse/guilt buys, too.

Aww, that stuff's normal and fun.

Self checkout is good for stuff like monistat and too much ice cream.
26 days ago - Monday 12/30/19 - 1:24:53 AM EST (GMT-5)
I always like self checkout because then I don't have to talk to anyone.
26 days ago - Monday 12/30/19 - 1:56:05 AM EST (GMT-5)
I use it when it's practical and I love it.

Otherwise, cashiers are magical at ringing up my big cart of produce and I am just awful with that at the self check.

I always pick the wrong type of cucumber on the screen and then someone has to come erase it for me.
I'm not paying 2.90 for the .80 cucumber
25 days ago - Monday 12/30/19 - 3:25:05 AM EST (GMT-5)
but i also prefer self check out
25 days ago - Monday 12/30/19 - 6:02:17 AM EST (GMT-5)
Yes, overpaying for cucumbers is not satisfactory at all.

Does anyone else feel nervous at the self checkout though? I tend to feel like I need to be very proper and *make sure* it is obvious that I am not a thief and everything is on the up and up. Like I am a known criminal and the authorities are just waiting for me to slip up and show my real thieving ways.

I've noticed that when I post here very regularly, it's often during a period of intense anxiety.

I've been pretty on edge lately. Trying to mitigate it with lots of exercise. That's not working well, but I suppose it's marginally better than sitting still with anxiety.

YES

I sort of hate self checkout unless I have 1-3 items.
25 days ago - Monday 12/30/19 - 6:58:48 PM EST (GMT-5)
I absolutely love self checkout and will 100% of the time choose it over standing in a long ass line. The only reasons I would go through an actual cashier are for tax exempt or if I have one million items.
25 days ago - Monday 12/30/19 - 8:34:17 PM EST (GMT-5)
I always use self-checkout, despite feeling like everyone thinks I'm stealing. Talking to a cashier is slightly more stressful than that
25 days ago - Monday 12/30/19 - 8:37:33 PM EST (GMT-5)
I use self checkout all the time and never feel this anxiety about people thinking I'm stealing.
