As a last resort to boost some of the activity around here, let's discuss:

1. What would you consider your best and worst quality?
2. Of all the jobs you've had so far, what was your favorite and least favorite? Why?
3. What do you think still brings you to YT?
4. Coffee or tea? Chocolate or vanilla? Sweet or salty?
5. Which would you choose: the ability to change a past experience, or the chance to see into the future?

GO

1. Worst quality would probably be my anxiety and hypersensitivity. I wish that it was easier for me to let things go and just move on. As for best quality... probably my work ethic and ability to set/achieve personal goals.
2. Favorite job is probably the one I'm in now (go me). Least favorite was my short stint in food service under an exploitative manager (plus some awful co-workers because why not throw that into the mix.)
3. Familiarity and habit, mostly. I also like a lot of you guys.
4. Definitely coffee. Definitely chocolate. Always sweet.
5. Change a past experience. I have my fair share of regrets.
1 month ago - Thursday 8/29/19 - 2:36:32 PM EST (GMT-5)
I know. Since the site was down all that time, has everyone gone to that other site or app or whatever it is?
1 month ago - Thursday 8/29/19 - 2:44:11 PM EST (GMT-5)
1. Worst quality is stubborn. Best is my honesty
2. Favorite was my job administering rx benefits at a call center. Worst was apprenticing at a stable. While I loved the horses and what I actually did, I was really taken advantage of
3. Boredom and interest in what others have going on
4. Sweet tea, a southern staple! Chocolate AND vanilla. Sweet! Cake, ice cream, cookies, candy...alllll the bad things why must they taste so good?!
5. Well is this an ability that I could actually have changed/prevented? I would have let my granny live longer. I would have let my daddy live longer. I would have let my brother in law live longer. It is not right that they went so young. But I actually could not prevent their deaths. I wouldn't want to see into the future, I'm afraid of what I may see.

Discord. Quite a few people are there, but it ebbs and flows. There are spurts of activity and then nothing for hours.

That was my original idea behind the question, but I'm open to other interpretations.

1- My best quality is my light-heartedness of being. My worst is my lack of social graces.
2-my favourite was probably my job as director of patient relations at digital derm. It was the right amount of challenging, paid very well, and I was well liked by all of my colleagues. My least favourite was probably as a receptionist at the gym. I sucked at selling the gym and I didn't get along with the owner at all.
3-the intimacy
4-tea, chocolate, both
5-see into the future. I've always been curious about mankind's future.
1 month ago - Thursday 8/29/19 - 3:48:36 PM EST (GMT-5)
1. Good listener and loyal. Bad is I'm lazy and a procrastinator.
2. I've only had 3 jobs. My favorite is the one I'm in, mostly because of money. My least was working at Hallmark because I was on my feet too much and it hurt.
3. Habit and the people.
4. Coffee, but has to be white coffee. Chocolate. Sweet or salty - depends on the mood.
5. I would love the ability to change a past experience.
1 month ago - Thursday 8/29/19 - 4:09:59 PM EST (GMT-5)

1 month ago - Thursday 8/29/19 - 4:48:58 PM EST (GMT-5)

Chocolate. I have a strong distaste for vanilla.

1. What would you consider your best and worst quality?

Oo. I'm a people pleaser. For both.

2. Of all the jobs you've had so far, what was your favorite and least favorite? Why?

Well. I've had 2. Macys shoe stock and park ranger. I liked them both but i miss being a park Ranger. And macys sucked when it became macys. When it was Kaufmanns it was so much better.

Boredom. Friendship. Socializing

4. Coffee or tea? Chocolate or vanilla? Sweet or salty?

Neither, vanilla, sweet

5. Which would you choose: the ability to change a past experience, or the chance to see into the future?

Change the past
1 month ago - Thursday 8/29/19 - 5:10:22 PM EST (GMT-5)
1. best- loyal. And I won't usually hold a grudge. Worst quality- stubborn. Bad at walking away from an argument.
2. Can't answer that, lol.
3. The people and boredom, really.
4. Neither. Cold milk is the best. More chocolate than vanilla. Usually sweet but I'm open to salt.
5. Change the past. Definitely. There are so many things I wish I had said, I wish I had done, but held back out of fear of rejection.
1 month ago - Thursday 8/29/19 - 5:54:21 PM EST (GMT-5)
1. Best quality, my personality.
2. Favorite job was working at a bowling center.
3. Bgraham23 reminding me that this place still exists.
4. Coffee, chocolate, salty.
5. I’d prefer to change a past experience to better my future.
1 month ago - Thursday 8/29/19 - 8:32:02 PM EST (GMT-5)
1. What would you consider your best and worst quality?

My resilience.
My laziness.
2. Of all the jobs you've had so far, what was your favorite and least favorite? Why?
I miss working front desk at a small print shop. The people there were so cool. Liked all my coworkers.
Working at a hotel was the worst experience of my life. Y’all already know why.

3. What do you think still brings you to YT?
Fuuuuuuuuuu I dunno. I was kinda hoping it’d be fully dead so we’d all move to discord.

4. Coffee or tea? Chocolate or vanilla? Sweet or salty?

Tea, chocolate, sweet.
5. Which would you choose: the ability to change a past experience, or the chance to see into the future?

Change the past, easily. Even if we’re going by Dbz rules I’d hope I could at least fix the experiences of an alternate dimension me
1 month ago - Thursday 8/29/19 - 8:37:06 PM EST (GMT-5)
1. a) I'll go out of my way for people b) I can be short on patience with adults
2. The ones I have now.
3. habit
4. Usually coffee but I like both, chocolate, salty
5. Change the past. There are a couple of people I'd give far less time and energy to, because they really didn't deserve it.
1 month ago - Thursday 8/29/19 - 9:01:19 PM EST (GMT-5)
1. Witty. Whiny.
2.Never really liked a job.
3. I like the aesthetics of the forum and care about the people.
4. Tea chocolate salty
5. Hmmm. About 50/50 on this one. Would very much like to see far into the future. But really should've used all my great scholarship money to go into a lucrative job field as young as possible and retire asap. Basically the bgraham method.
1 month ago - Thursday 8/29/19 - 11:40:20 PM EST (GMT-5)

1. i no longer possess qualities

2. favorite job was the data center with good pay and free snacks even though it was a pain to commute to. worst would be this campus job with awful scheduling (I think the worst was like 11-1, 5 days a week, because I was apparently the only one honest about leaving a lunch break between my classes), getting scolded for not doing things i literally was not trained to do, boss who only talked about burning man, and fired me for having a flu lmao. at least there was a candy jar and thus candy drawer

3. idk I just check YT because I don't know many other websites and I pretend there is a sense of community for me

4. coffee, chocolate, and sweet, but I am a glutton for all

5. i'm 100% looking at the future to see if it's worth it. like 15, 20 years forward
1 month ago - Friday 8/30/19 - 11:10:01 AM EST (GMT-5)
It's been interesting to read these responses. I wasn't expecting the last question to get such a divided response in particular. I think that I overestimated how many people would choose the first option.
1 month ago - Friday 8/30/19 - 11:54:17 AM EST (GMT-5)
Past or future hypothetical changes with my mood and life situations.
If everything's going ok, I 100% want to see the future. Maybe see the earth in a million or more years. Extreme future.
When I'm stressed, it's more focused on regrets and cursing myself for how I got here.
1 month ago - Friday 8/30/19 - 12:01:38 PM EST (GMT-5)
I have little faith that if I changed one thing, another equally bad thing wouldn't come along to bite me in the ass
1 month ago - Friday 8/30/19 - 12:23:53 PM EST (GMT-5)
1. What would you consider your best and worst quality?
extremely wise, but cursed by fate for my hubris
2. Of all the jobs you've had so far, what was your favorite and least favorite? Why?
all work is depressing and demeaning
3. What do you think still brings you to YT?
buddy kidnapped me and implanted a giant magnet directly into my spine, that corresponds exactly to an opposite magnet hidden in the very heart of this website. i must find and destroy it before i can be free
4. Coffee or tea? Chocolate or vanilla? Sweet or salty?
i prefer coffee but can't drink it any more because it f*cks me up. so i mostly drink rooibos tea. vanilla, salty
5. Which would you choose: the ability to change a past experience, or the chance to see into the future?
i want to change a past experience so as to cause a paradox and f*ck up spacetime

being serious, this

I think if I were to see into the future, it'd just prevent me from doing anything in life. Because id always be weighing the good and bad that comes along with any decision. It'd just drive me crazy.
1 month ago - Friday 8/30/19 - 12:44:24 PM EST (GMT-5)
it depends how deterministic the future you see is in this scenario
if it's definitely going to happen then f*ck it, you can do whatever because you know what's going to happen
if it's just a possibility, then anything you do might change it so it's basically useless
