Anyway.
This is probably not a permanent journal.

There are SO MANY bugs and insects in this apt. I don't know why. We are going to spray the poo out of the place this afternoon. I'm getting ready. Covering stuff. Moving stuff.

One of the most frustrating things for me about moving about is not being able to identify plants and critters.

Yes. That's Greg. He's a dick.

What is it on? Looks like a sunny side up egg that sat outside for a week.

Pasta in butter i tossed him in there when i found him on my phone. It worked pretty well at keeping him in place

Greg, father away and a little more dead.

Oh he's tiny.

Kinda looks like a fruit fly to me...

He iiiis. We keep finding different tiny bugs around the apt. It's very annoying. Greg today, a drain fly also ended up in my pasta. Yesterday i think another Greg, he was hard to identify, ended up in my cereal milk, and what i think is a carpet beetle jointed me on the couch arm.
It's. Just... Stay outside. All these bugs are predatory too, they eat other bugs, i don't know what is luring them into our apartment except each other. They only end up in food because i put them there to catch them

I should say, carpet beetles aren't predatory, they eat stuff like hair, fur, etc, and we saw them here before we even moved in. Bombed the place before we moved in but they are hardy draters.

Do you have any cats? My mom's cats like to eat bugs. I think a bat would work, too. Or a swarm of preying mantises.

I think we should get a couple house spiders.
15 days ago - Monday 6/3/19 - 12:58:24 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yeah most spiders are pretty good at keeping insect populations under control. A few years ago I read about a house where scientists found more than 4000 brown recluse spiders, but that might be excessive...

Oh here's the link. Apparently it was between 4,500 and 6,000 spiders. They might have some they could lend you.

I was thinking more, cellar spiders.

I went to go make a grilled cheese and a bug fell from our skylight (where we just discovered them all hanging out), onto my arm.
Not cool.
So not cool.
I can't wait for my husband to get home so we can MASSACRE THEM ALL.

What is this, joe's apartment?
15 days ago - Monday 6/3/19 - 1:16:55 PM EST (GMT-5)
It feels like it at the moment

And it came out of no where!
Past, maybe 3 days we've noticed them.
Husband is SUPER antibug too. Any time we find one he's like WE NEED TO BURN THE APT DOWN, or at the very least poison the poo out of everything. Which i usually remind him would poison us too.
But wtf.
We just need to spring bug bomb i think.

Luckily, we seem to have left all the cockroaches in Virginia.
Here its tiny little flying bugs that don't seem to have any purpose in our apt, by way of their species behaviors. Like, yall, you eat aphids, there are no aphids in here, why are you here?
