I wonder how much is effected by my emotional state.

I'm usually very good at seeing endings, even twisty ones. I think it's because I've read a lot of books? I just love stories

I had the broad strokes down.
I knew when Strange told Tony, If I tell you, it won't happen. that tony would have to be the sacrifice (which given he was the only one that had a hard 'i need to live through this' line at the beginning made sense)
And then the end.
Cap goes back and lives a whole life.
Tony only got 4 years.
They made it like he had a whole life too, but he really didn't.
Clint went back to his family.
But Nat who also had never really had a chance to have a life or a family, is gone. She never even gets those four years.
And how could Cap hide himself away for 50 years?
Just ignore all the injustices, know bucky is out there and just the torment continue?

More than 50?
Did he just go back to 1970 or all the way to 1945?

Also i've not slept since sunday morning and there was another shooting and the boy that died was 18 and they keep saying he was an adult, which like yeah, technically true but also he was probably supposed to graduate f*cking high school next week and he's dead??? Who cares if he was 18? He was a damn baby. And the shooters were too. I can't sleep and i can't stop crying.

It's not fair, all the real and fictional people being denied the opportunity to grow and have happy lives.

I blame steve rogers

When I heard about the shooting, I thought immediately of you and Clive and the recent scare. It's sad to say that I was relieved to read that the victims were all fifteen or older, because it negated my fear for you.

I'm so very over the gun violence and apathy around it.

I haven't seen endgame, but I don't know if I will, not my cuppa, so I don't mind the spoilers.

I was partly spoilered before I went to see it the other day, I was still shocked when it all happened though.

Cap.America pissed me off. His ending was ridiculous, how could he have gone back in time and everything not change?
And why did they kill iron man, why didn't they kill stupid Cap.America?
I mean, I'm glad iron man saved the world, he was always my fave, but come on.

Tom Holland as Spiderman made me emotional in Infinity War as well as End game. The kid is just too adorable.

Black widow dying was expected when her and hawk eye were going for the soul stone, but it still made me cry. After all her hard work trying to keep everything together, she wasn't there to see the end result.

I was way more emotionally invested then I thought I'd be, I enjoyed the film, my best friend thought it was sht.

They'd originally said it was a k-8 so i had that same guilty feeling of relief that it wasn't very little ones. Still so young.
The boy that was killed looked so sweet. Graduation was this weekend.
My kiddo is getting ready for school and I don't want him to go.

My heart hurts today.

I totally agree.
There is no way cap ends up in that timeline.

Also I thought Thanos was so hard to kill the first time because of the gauntlet? He should've been easier this time. And Captain Marvel is basically an infinity stone, she should've made short work of him.

I did totally enjoy it though.

I think even with the gauntlet, Thanos is a few magnitudes stronger than the Avengers. Not quite Galactus strong, but the tier below it, and in a tier or three above folks like The Hulk.

With to without.

I know. He's the strongest eternal.
I just really wanted captain marvel to beat him.

I'm pretty sure he's beaten galactus before.

I slept a little today
So am thinking more clearly about the mad titan's actual strength

Thank you for reminding me, cpayne

I thought that was the whole point of her being in the film. That she was supposed to kill Thanos.
I mean, the only important thing she did really was bring Stark back to Earth.
And maybe defeat the big spaceship thing. But I'm sure Giant Ant Man or Scarlet Witch could have done that aswell.

but that scene where he punches her and nothing happens and then pulls out the power stone to just kablamo her was easily the coolest scene in the entire film

The timeline cap went back to probably never had a hydra in shield problem and cap woulda been real good buds with unorphaned unpoohead stark and that worlds probably way better

I never saw the captain marvel movie so im unsure of her mcu powers besides 'bein a pookicker' but the movie version totally has the superman problem, just too goddamn strong to fit

I dont like how they yoyo thors power level in the movies though but theyre super fun so its cool.
17 days ago - Wednesday 5/8/19 - 8:37:14 PM EST (GMT-5)
Thinking about it though thors always been sort of a he-man strong as he needs to be thing. That works.

At first I didn't recognize old Captain America.
I was like, "Who the f*ck is this old guy that just showed up"
which was dumb of me but I saw the movie on one hour of sleep.
I kept microsleeping through it, suddenly jerking awake over and over. And the overly long/slow parts seemed longer and slower.

btw, the makeup department did a great job. He looked like a real old dude.
but i should have known based on context and...based on...not being stupid.

I figured that when captain America went back to return the stones that he'd be in no particular hurry to return. Especially after the long look he took at her while getting the stone.
