I know nothing about tablets.

I have a laptop but I've noticed i don't use it much anymore, i am forever on my phone.
Things i do:
-facebook
-amazon/shop
-use chrome for stuff like yt, other sites
-play farming/town games

My husband thinks i should get a tablet cuz:
-i kill my eyes on my phone
-i kill my battery on my phone
-my games would be easier to play

Neither of us know anything about tablets.

Is it worth it to get one?
Can i play my games on there?
What can/can't i do on a tablet compared to my phone?
Other thoughts?

Amazon has some deals on some this weekend.
Help

I like my iPad. My husband had a Samsung tablet he likes. I know not what kind.
Some things are easier to do on my laptop/I can't do on my iPad.

I am currently waiting for my tablet to arrive in the mail. I got it because I have little storage space on my phone and I'm sick of deleting and reinstalling apps all the time (but I don't want to get a new phone yet) (and I had a gift card that made the tablet almost free).

Plus, I borrowed my dad's tablet when I traveled by plane recently and it worked well for entertainment. I downloaded shows with his Amazon prime and could watch them offline on the flight. The screen is better for viewing TV/film but it's still portable. I like that.

I've never done games on one but I imagine it'd be nice to use one for that.

So, it depends how much you'd use one and if you want to spare the money.

I had a iPad mini for a long while. Reading graphic novels on it was awesome.

But otherwise, it’s a bit of luxury in my case.
Might get a phone with a bigger screen when comes time to change it.

I've had a ten inch screen Samsung tablet for the last three years.

She's the best! I added a micro chip, so I still have tons of space.

You just need to learn the technology.

I watch all kinds of streaming stuff from this baby. In bed. All comfy.

LEARN! READ! I'm old, and all over it.

I use my iPad rather than having a second computer or TV in the bedroom. It's networked up to my external hard drives, so I can watch all that content, and it's a 5k screen, so it's decent quality.

it's the sort of thing I didn't think I'd use that much, but in all honesty, it's really handy for both work and entertainment. Small things, like it's much easier and quicker to type emails (or posts) on a tablet. Plus, it's ideal for holidays and such, where you don't want to cart a laptop around.

I mean, it's not essential, but it sure is nice.

I like my iPad. I decided to only use my laptop at home and to take the tablet everywhere else. It's worked out great so far. It's not essential like Chips said but I do like having it around.

I have the Samsung Tab A 10 and it is awsome.
You can do everything you can do with your phone, except calls or messages.
