The old archdruid died, which was sad because he was a nice man, but he was 70-something.
I was kinda hoping the new archdruid would have a beard, but no. No beard. I was thinking about writing to the Gorsedd and insisting new critera are in place for choosing archdruids- and one of them should be a beard... even if it's a woman. Doubtless, this will be received badly.
Also, the new dude may be an accomplished poet- but he's also a screenwriter for a soap opera. I think they could have done better.
