Because I am an inanimate object. Or perhaps I am a video game character that you control... or perhaps I'm just running, and not quite sure where to go... I got up "early" meaning around noon instead of 1 or 2.  I went to my doctor at 2:00 (psychologist, though I usually call him a doctor because I'm a bit embarrassed about it.) We talked, and unlike most sessions, I had something to say throughout the whole meeting instead of long awkward pauses. I think talking to him has really changed my life. I was a nervous wreck when I first went in there in October of 2007, and within days I started sleeping again, and within a month I had a job. But now I am sleeping, but still no job. I got another rejection notice, but this one only took a week, which isn't too bad. I also got a notice about a new job opening up in my field from a job that had rejected me before, so I applied.

Because a lot of people are applying.
Or in Jose's opinion, they somehow take the time to read my YT, Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter, and deem me unworthy.

I agree. If I had insurance, I'd go as much as they'd let me! Don't be embarassed. There's not nearly as much stigma attached to seeing psychologists these days as there was in previous decades. |

My friend Matt was informed that he didn't get a job at some place because of some Facebook pics he took...said it in his rejection letter and all. |

Mine never say that, and I don't have any questionable pictures on Facebook.
They usually blandly say "we thank you for applying but blah blah blah we wish you luck and please continue to look at our site for more opportunities."

Employers do look at stuff. Talking about being in therapy could make you a potential risk for your employer. Just keep your Internet tracks light. |

What about the other stuff you put up on here? I mean they might not just nail you for the therapy thing.
Keep the tracks light and drama-free and you'll get a job, it worked for Matt and I. |
