For positive experiences, in tandem with the O.S. thread.

What's good? What are you grateful for? What is something uplifting that you'd like to share?

I'm happy that after i got off work last night, it's the beginning of 3 weeks off. The drunken, dumbass behavior is well underway, thank you very much.

Redbox finally got After, a movie I have been wanting to see and we are about to watch it.

I had a delicious meal at Logan's. A steak that had beer battered onions and some garlic butter stuff on top. Their delicious yeast rolls. And a grilled peach dessert that was rather tasty.

My children are healthy, happy and precious.

My husband is doing well and we are getting along. He is good to me.

My mother is still alive and in her right mind.

Autumn is getting closer day by day and soon the weather will be cool again! YAY!

Weird Al only seems to have friendly fans. Bf & I were at a concert last night and there were people bonding over their wacky outfits and being polite in line.

Ps. Thanks for making this thread mouse. I always though we should have some positivity here to balance out the complaints.

Thanks.

I love venting in the complaint thread but most of the time I also have some sort of positive thing to share as well.

I saved a charity event on the weekend.

2 of the bands had rented a van to drive from Liverpool to London but it was wrecked by another band on Thursday.

They couldn't find another van to rent at such short notice so I drove from London to Liverpool to drive them all the way back and then repeated the journey to take them home... about 900 miles in 30 hours. I only charged them for one trip instead of two and I kept getting introduced to people as THE driver.

I’m sitting at Tim hortons and a little boy brought in a card and a present for his “best friend” who works there. It was the sweetest thing ever.

I didn't get a job that involved driving 1000 miles over 2 days to pick up a band that broke down in Holland. 3 hours later someone asked me to take a band to the airport tomorrow (15 miles) and pick them up on Thursday (also 15 miles), for not very much less money.

secured the PE teacher position. longer hours in the office, but more pay, and that's always good.

It's just a spreadsheet and then a few short paragraphs that have been typed out.

My teachers had terrible handwriting too.

They texted me from their coffee shop while I was in the middle of a marginally-related target supplies run. (Glue sticks for my intern and tea and organization things for me ) panic and then lots of relief! introwinning
