For example: Sweet Home Alabama, Mississippi Queen (song title) or Kansas, Alaska (band names)

And go...

About this: in the shower, i started thinking if every states have already been covered in songs, band names.
Thought discovery this way would be more fun than Google. (This tells you how old I am by my idea of « fun »)

We should exclude official state songs to make this more interesting (for example, "Maryland, My Maryland," or "My old Kentucky Home").

Not all mention the state's name in the title, but a lot do.

One a lot of us would have heard this past weekend: Back Home Again in Indiana (which is not actually the IN state song).

We do not watch races, but we happened to have the TV on as they were about to do the anthem + that so we listened to see if the singers were any good. Dad of course reminded us that Jim Nabors used to sing that every year.

All my exes live in Texas

Pennsylvania 6-5000 was really about New York But it still does say the state in the name. There's also Pennsylvania Polka (a version of this is in the movie Groundhog Day).

Texas has a ton, including one of my favorite fiddle tunes that I can't find a good recording of. It's what we'd call "crooked" (extra beats added to some measures, and an extra measure added to one of the parts), not to mention some people play it differently depending on where they learned it. Interestingly, we know it here as a "West Virginia tune" (because no one from here played it until they learned it from a WV player).

One that Texas has is of course Yellow Rose of Texas which is a pretty tune with words that still seem wildly racist even for the time.
