What podcasts do you listen to?
1 month ago - Monday 12/18/17 - 3:00:38 PM EST (GMT-5)
I love comedy bang bang

And i think it was you that we had a similar sense of humour comedy wise? Like the office and parks and rec?

Anyway it takes a while to totally get into it because there's a lot of in jokes but I find it mostly hilarious

I won't recommend all my nerdy finance podcasts though.

Oh! The Skeptics Guide to the Universe.

Great people who are incredibly sharp thinkers and good analyses on a whole bunch of subjects from science, philosophy, psychology, religion, pseudoscience, medicine... Basically anything.

I don't know if it's because I'm living in the UK and feel the need to stay in the loop of the stateside political circus, but I really enjoy Lovett or Leave It, the new Majority 54, Trumpcast, The Weeds, and Pod Save America/Pod Saves the World. Also really enjoyed Freakonomics Radio and Revisionist History.

99% Invisible?

If you like Revisionist history and freakonomics I'd recommend that.

Also the memory palace

uhhh right now im really liking do go on

its an australian podcast with three comedians and one of them does a report. the other two are smart asses. the presenter rotates every week. Very funny show and you can start at any episode with no previous knowledge, and their laughs are infectious

i also like the weekly planet which covers movies tv shows video games and comics, filthy casuals which talks about video games, serious issues which talks about comics, steele wars which covers star wars, TOFOP which is Wil Anderson and Charlie Clausen just chatting and catching up and riffing on whatever.

i also really enjoy barely friending which is two comedians who used to date eachother going over topics that either users suggest or they come up with on their own. they are very funny and insightful and its nice to hear their different takes on things. a very comfortable listen.

I used to do this! I would listen to a wow podcast while playing wow. I was kinda amused to find out that the guy that ran the podcast that I loved is pretty popular now. (Totalbiscuit)

The only podcast I listen to is We Paid To See This (movie review podcast) and that's because one of my favorite singers is one of the hosts.

I like podcasts most for public transport and when I'm cleaning around the house.
1 month ago - Monday 12/18/17 - 4:00:43 PM EST (GMT-5)
nerdist can also be a good one, but it’s not something I’ll listen to on the reg
it all depends on who he’s interviewing that week

I just downloaded the most recent one because he’s interviewing bill skarsgard and I really love it

but before that the last one I actually downloaded was back in october when he interviewed the duffer brothers

I listen to podcasts while I’m driving or in the shower or doing housework mostly

All my political ones have been mentioned except Amicus (which is really about the courts, not exactly politics). The only one I listen to every single week without fail is Gabfest (which I think was the first podcast I ever listened to).

How Did This Get Made? is a really fun one about bad movies, with Paul Scheer, June Diane Raphael, and Jason Mantzoukas (all former UCB people, iirc). It's 10x better if you actually watch the bad movie first, of course. So that's a time commitment.

Ask a Clean Person (with Jolie Kerr). She's a cleaning advice columnist and most of the segments are based on listener questions. How to get red wine out of a white sofa. How to keep Halloween makeup (or hair dye) from staining every single surface in your entire bathroom. What's the best way to clean my sex toys? Just everything.
