Need mince pies. Specifically the ones from Dunnes Stores (Irish supermarket chain).

Have to have turkey for the roast and cranberry sauce. I hate Brussel sprouts, such a stupid vegetable
2 months ago - Friday 12/23/16 - 12:50:13 PM EST (GMT-5)

Brussel Sprouts are awesome. They're like mini cabbages.

Pumpkin pie is f*cking great, too. I haven't had it in years.

must have on christmas day or i'll be sad:

turkey
roast potatoes
bread sauce
stuffing
tiny delicious sausages
bacon (possibly wrapped around the tiny delicious sausages)
sprouts
parsnips

that's the essentials, any other veg is also welcome

Mincemeat is groovy but I meant the modern meatless kind.

Basically all of the usual stuff except mince pies and sprouts. I hate both of those.

I also like to have Yorkshire Puddings with the main meal.

You just reminded me to pester mum over Yorkshire puddings.

Are they a thing in America?

2 months ago - Friday 12/23/16 - 4:24:31 PM EST (GMT-5)
Pumpkin pie, any kind of potatoes, eggnog (with rum preferably).

I don't like stuffing.
2 months ago - Friday 12/23/16 - 4:24:35 PM EST (GMT-5)
I can't have any roast without Yorkshire pudding!
2 months ago - Friday 12/23/16 - 4:35:29 PM EST (GMT-5)

Do you save them for last? Because I do.
2 months ago - Friday 12/23/16 - 4:39:35 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yes! Although if I have enough I'll use one to help get rid of the unpleasant vegetables (sprouts mainly). I'll cover the sprout with mash then wrap it all up in Yorkshire pudding.

Yorkshire pudding is not big at all here.

Ham and trifle..

Pumpkin pie and some kind of potato dish.

Yorkshire pudding is common here. My family always had them. There were fights over the last ones.

I don't think i have a christmas must have food. Mostly it's all about eating things around town since we visit from so far away and come back here to where we grew up.

Though on thanksgiving i must have pumpkin pie.or just pie. And turkey/stuffing/gravy/mashed potatoes. Which i didn't get this year until 2 days ago! Finally.

We always have mini bagels and croissants on chrismas morning. But it's more tradition than yum.

Oh! CHRISTMAS COOKIES. As many as possible.
