Stone, 67, a self-described political trickster, was convicted of all seven criminal counts that he faced: obstruction of proceedings, five counts of false statements, and one count of witness tampering.
The charges related to allegations that Stone had lied to Congress about his contacts with WikiLeaks during the 2016 election, and to his alleged efforts to get his associate Randy Credico to back up his lies.

seems like we posted ours at the same time.

i doubt he'll get any serious jail time, knowing our justice system.

Forget jail time. Considering his lies were told to protect Trump (because the truth looked extremely bad for Trump), he'll probably get a f*cking pardon.

My hope is that with impeachment hearings going on someone around him will tell him that handing out pardons to his buddies is probably not the smartest thing to do.

But hey, it's trump. That might only encourage him.

Why not hand out pardons? He's got very little to lose at this point...

He wants to avoid having to resign.

I dont' think pardons will make any difference in that regard.

Who's going to make him? The GOP? They've been complicit and approving of every abuse of power so far; why would they start to care now, after he pardons the babadook?
