Noldor: “Leading political parties in Russia include United Russia, the Communist Party, the Liberal Democratic Party, and A Just Russia.” - Wiki

This does not mean that the country has a communist or socialist economic system, btw.

Is that not taught in Econ 101?
3 months ago - Tuesday 7/17/18 - 7:47:06 PM EST (GMT-5)
No, Econ 101 is where you learn that if you're poor, it's your fault.

didn't some socialist/communist countries adopt some elements of capitalism to adapt? no economic system is perfect, but pure socialism/communism is a road to ruin, if you ask me.

same with pure capitalism
you need elements of socialism to prevent society from collapsing

welcome to democratic socialism

Please define "pure socialism" and cite a real-world example of a country where it has existed.

"Trump to redesign Air Force One to be 'red, white and blue'" to match the color scheme of Putin's Presidential jet.

I'm surprised it's not going to be the gaudiest gold known to man.

There aren't, not have there ever been communist out socialist countries anywhere in the world. The terms you're all looking for are "command economies" and "welfare states." The USSR was a command economy, Sweden is a welfare state. None of the above is socialism or communism.

Noldor: “Leading political parties in Russia include United Russia, the Communist Party, the Liberal Democratic Party, and A Just Russia.” - Wiki

United Russia(54.2%): The party has no coherent ideology, but it embraces specific politicians and officials[17] with a variety of political views who support the administration.[18] The party appeals mainly to non-ideological voters,[19] therefore United Russia is often classified by political scientists as a "catch-all party"[20][21][22] or as a "party of power".[23][24] In 2009, it proclaimed Russian conservatism as its official ideology.(Wiki)

Communist Party(13.3%): As of 2015, the party has 160,000 members.[4] The party's stated goal is to establish a new, modernised form of socialism in Russia.[5] Immediate goals of the party include the nationalisation of natural resources, agriculture and large industries within the framework of a mixed economy that allows for the growth of small and medium enterprises in the private sector.[6]

Liberal Democratic(13.14%) : Despite the party's name, it is frequently described as "neither liberal nor democratic".[13] The party has been described as fiscally statist within an ultranationalist authoritarian ideology.[14][15][16] Its ideology is based primarily on Zhirinovsky's ideas of "imperial reconquest" (a "renewed Russian Empire")[17] and on an authoritarian vision of a "Greater Russia".[16][18]

A just Russia: is a social democratic[1][2][13] political party in Russia currently holding 23 of the 450 seats in the State Duma. It calls for a "New Socialism of the 21st Century", which guarantees the rights and freedoms of the individual and ensures the proper functioning of a welfare state.

Are you still saying that the Nazi were socialist because they had socialist in their name?

In that case North Korea is a democracy.

Two Russian Oligarchs are having a vodka after work.

One says " see my tie, vintage silk cost 200 rubles."

Other one say" you idiot should have come to me, I tell where you get it for 400 rubles.

Shouldn't the title be Obama:Make Russian Great Again? Trump has been harder on Russia than Obama.

President Trump is tougher on Russia in 18 months than Obama in 8 years

"During his first month in office in January 2017, President Trump upheld strict sanctions to punish Russia for its unlawful 2014 annexation of Crimea. With those sanctions, the Trump administration punished more than three dozen individuals and organizations that were behind the invasion of Ukraine."

Because Congress passed a bilateral law preventing him from axing them? And when he couldn't lift the sanctions, he wanted Russia to rejoin the G7 without any acknowledgement of Crimea. Which you can't completely blame him for, since he doesn't even know where it is or that Russia invaded in the first place.

I really hope he don’t get a second term
