I'm surprised there wasn't a thread for this book. At least nothing came up when I did a search.

This is one of three books I ordered today to keep in compliance with my New Year's Resolution to read more Stephen King books. I downloaded the Nook book. I'll be starting this after I finish with Eyes of the Dragon. I also downloaded the sequel, Doctor Sleep.

I finished this last weekend. Definitely better than the movie, of course as is usually the case. The movie left you hanging in the end. The book had a better ending. Now I'm reading the sequel.

Let me know - I've read The Shining, but didn't know there was a sequel.

I liked when the topiary animals were going after Jack.
