i honestly had no idea who she was when i met her/started doing featured readings with her. then a mutual friend was all 'that's the blair witch chick". that's why she looked familiar, of course. but i don't see her like that. i see her as a talented, amazing writer/stage presence.

So after reading the first bit (thank you Kindle!) it's actually not a horrible read. She has a very funny literary voice. I'm curious as to where it is headed, so I put it on my Amazon wishlist and may buy it one day.

i just finished my copy of Growgirl.
i thoroughly enjoyed it. and not just because i know her/live here. it's well written, funny, heartfelt, informative, and is a great memoir.

I want to read that book. Her interview was amazing. She seems like someone that would be interesting to talk to. I wish I could remember which mag I read about it in. Entertainment Weekly maybe? IDK.
