More violence? I thought it was plenty violent. A great suspense thriller too.

One of my favorite King books.

Almost done reading this. Enjoying it more than I thought I would. This is well written. My supervisor said that King does not remember anything he wrote in this. Same with Christine.

I liked Cujo, but ultimately enjoyed Christine better.

You should definitely read it, in my opinion the book was waaaaay better than the movie. There's a lot of technical stuff in it, but I found it pretty interesting.

Well, most of the time that's true in any case. The only time I can say that I liked a movie better than the book is in the case of The Shawshank Redemption. I preferred the movie.

I have a goal to read every single one of King's books so I'm sure I'll read Christine. I finished Cujo and it was very good. Now, I don't remember
the kid dying in the movie. But it's been a while since I've seen it. Did he die in the movie like he did in the book?

Watched the movie again today.

Tad survived in the movie. I thought so.

Yeah, I read somewhere that
kids are dying less in horror movies because if a kid dies in a movie, a lot of people won't see it. Too much of a sore spot for people.

Honestly, a lot of King's work is made less disturbing in the film versions.

It strange, but for me, reading everything in print actually doesn't disturb me as much as seeing the action in a movie. I don't know why that is. As far as I know, I've never had any bad dreams from reading a book, but I've had dreams from movies.
