`If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger: I should not seem a part of it...Nelly, I am Heathcliff! He`s always, always in my mind: not as a pleasure, any more than I am always a pleasure to myself, but as my own being.`

“Besides…the more time I spend with you, the more human emotions seem comprehensible to me. I’m discovering that I can sympathize with Heathcliff in ways I didn’t think possible before.” — Edward Cullen

My new nose piercing tickles!!! - Mood:Good
Tuesday April 08 20088:58:59 PM |
Alrighty, so I finally got my nose pierced. Jeesh, took forever to convince my mother, but anyways, I finally did and now it's done.

I absolutely LOVE it, minus that fact that everytime I scrunch my nose, it tickles like crazy! Scrunching my nose is like an involuntary habit of mine, when I get embarrased or just make silly faces, I always scrunch my nose! The tickling is really getting annoying!

Other than that part, I really do love it!

I also drank my weight in iced tea and now my tummy hurts.

I got a B on a geometry quiz! Finally, an okay grade! Wooh!

I really need to work on homework... ick.

How's YT?

With a license comes responsibility... well f*ck. - Mood:Indifferent
Sunday March 23 200812:35:34 AM |
I got my license on Wednesday. Yeah me!!! I'm learning how to drive a stick shift so I can drive my brothers car. It's all fine and wonderful that I don't have a car payment, but now I won't have a car to drive during the summer because he has veto power over it, which is totally understandable since he paid for the car. But it does kind of suck that I'll have to get rides from my friends.

I got a job application for an icecream shop. The only thing I'm worried about is working and going to school. I'm not good at doing two things at once, so any suggestions on how to have a job and keeps your grades?

How dorky am I? I got super excited because I got Moulin Rouge, and the first season's of both Will and Grace and Gilmore Girls. Yes, I know I am a dork.

Also, I'm reading The Essential Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe. Any Poe fans out there? What's your favorite story/poem??? So far my favorite poem is Annabelle Lea or The Raven. I can't pick a favorite story.

WYSE testing, and I`m going to fail. - Mood:Anxious
Thursday January 31 20085:09:08 PM |
About two weeks ago I took these tests on English and Biology. The tests aren't graded, they're for WYSE which is the Worldwide Youth Science and Engineering exams. You get college recognition etc.
I thought I did awful but apparently I got second or third place in Biology and some high up place in English so on Wednesday I'll be taking more tests at a college. My other friend got in too.
I can't decide if I should be excited or not because I'm happy that I made it (I beat out seniors and only 28 people could come out of like 200 kids that tried out) but I'm also nervous that I'm going to do awful.
I have a full weekend and hopefully a snowday tomorrow to study, but I still am not exactly sure what to study for.
Anyone ever taken tests like these? How did you study for them? I have a Biology book and am flipping through it. I'm also taking these practice tests but they aren't really helping. Uhg.
