The sky was a dreary, dismal gray. A shade that reminds me of death. The trees below it are full of leaves of green, darker than the summer months. And below them is what she saw. What brought her into a state of panic. Beneath the tree was a body. The sky flashed and a bolt of lightning struck one of the surrounding trees. The thunder sounded in it's booming voice and immediately the rain came falling. It was a fierce, pelting rain. Following it were the winds. The quick, fast, ferocious winds. Beating and piercing everything like a drum. The body was wearing all black. A black shirt, black jeans, and a black coat. Everything was black on the body. The hair, the clothes, the color that the nails were painted, the shoes, everything. But the body was not dead. It was alive and she was moving. Slowly uncurling from the ball she had curled into. Slowly, she slithered off of the ground...just like a snake....until she was standing on her feet. Then she began to run; towards me. I tried to escape from her with a speed I had never run. Her fingers were dripping with blood and her face was all tore up. I kept running and running and running. Faster than I ever thought was even possible for a professional. But she kept gaining speed. She kept getting closer to me. And as she got closer, she started to try and slash me with her fingers, her hands. All of a sudden, my feet fell out from under me and I was falling. All around me was black, and the rain was soaking into me...drenching me completely...the rain not washing the blood from her hands. Then I looked up, and she disappeared. It turned black above me and I kept falling and falling and falling. Then, I landed. And could not move. The last thing I saw was her blood-soaked hands coming towards me. That's when it all went black.
