How To Create A Fake Newspaper Article.
This is a step by step how to create a fake newspaper article forum. This questionnaire will help you get your ideas together to help you create a fake newspaper article. Wether your doing it for school, or just for fun, this forum will help you out.

Newspaper articles are articles that keep us informed about upcoming events, accidents, and other things that we need to know about. Newspaper articles can persway us to think a certain way, or feel a certain way depending on the situation. Wouldn't it be fun to write a fake newspaper article and pull pranks on your friends into thinking it was real, into thinking it ACTUALLY happened? Then just follow this step by step forum/questionnaire to help you out.

1. What types of articles do you like to read about?

a) An event (e.g. party, wedding, funeral...)

b) A cause (e.g. raising money for cancer, a foundation to help kids in poor countries...)

c) A horrible event (e.g. an accident, death, suicide...)

(It is important to know what articles you like to read so that you can enjoy what you're writing because when you're writing about something you like to read, it will be easier to write it and you won't become so frustrated.)

2. What type of articles would you want to write about? (it's better to have two choices, that way it won't be so hard to choose.)

a) An event

b) A cause

c) A horrible accident

(It is important to know what you would want to write about because then it won't become so boring and you just stop writing about. People who write or do project on a subject that they don't like, they'll likely give up and never go back to it, so it's important to pick something you would WANT to do.)

3) Pick an article that you REALLY want to write about. (Now, you have to choose one you REALLY want to do, something that you will not be bored with after a week.)

a) An event

b) A cause

c) A horrible accident

4) Write a little bio about your article. (Write a short summary about the events in your story.): Writing a little summary about the events in your story will help you pick better words and better quotes to use while actually writing the story. It will give you an idea on how this should be said in your article as well.

5) Pick a good title for your article: To grab the readers attention, you have to have a catchy title to catch their eye and make them think that your article is worth while to read. (e.g. Reptile Zoo Shows Off Their Wild Side.)

6) Does your story take place at an event?

(Sometimes, stories from newspaper articles will take place at an event. Example: A drowning incident took place at a beach party down in Florida. So, when thinking about your article, think about if it is taking place at an event or not. You can choose your article not to have it take place at an event or you can, but check back on your summary to see if it does or not.)

7) If so, what type of event does this story take place at?

(If you've decided or checked you summary on your story that it does take place at an event, choose what type of event it takes place at; the article will have more advantage and excitement as well.)

8) Write down a few character names in the article.

(I'm pretty sure that a story is not a story without characters, so decide on some character names and you'll be ready to write your fake article!)

Here are some tips for you to use while writing your fake article:

*Add some qoutes to your article of what one of the characters said. (e.g. "When she told me about the accident, I didn't want to believe it, I didn't want to believe it was true.")

*This is a tip I use for myself; try making it sound like a news reporter is talking, that way, you'll get your point across more easily.

GOOD LUCK WRITING!!

(And if you would like to make you friends REALLY think what you wrote is real, add some pictures to it and try to make it look like a newspaper article, and dip the page in tea so that it becomes brown.)
