About to return home from my first deployment.
Though it mostly sucked I made a few new friends. Our personalities are manifestations of how we chose to deal with the circumstance of our past. To regret is to wish our selves to be someone who we are not. As painful as life may have been to this point I would not change anything I`ve done. However I choose to heed my mistakes that I not make them again. I am coming home with a goal in mind and though obstacles have presented them selves I`ll navigate them to the best of my ability. Logic is like pulling out an atlas and planing a road trip.
Life is like setting the GPS and listening it bitch at you when you`ve missed your turn.

| | I had an interview about 3 weeks ago and didn't get the job. Applied for a few different jobs. I had a phone interview Monday for a job and was invited to do a face to face interview tomorrow at 1:30. Well know company entry level position, decently hourly wage with monthly bonus potential. Matches my skill set fairly well. Hope this is the final interview but not sure. Will require a move to Indy though which isn't so bad. And the job starts the training in like two weeks so I'll know soon enough anyway. |

| Issue 1.
I'm now on blood pressure medication.I mean I can't blame anyone but my self for this one. Poor eating and exercising (or lack thereof) habits have caught up with me. Long gone are the days where I could stuff my face with what ever delicious food I came across with out worrying about gaining an ounce. For too long I've lived in excess and now I'm paying for it. #2. I've got to go in for a sleep lab. My snoring has become very bad (loud and disruptive) my wife thinks I may have stopped breathing
the other night, due to sleep apnea. Guess We'll find out. #3 I've been having horrid bowel issues since I cam back from Iraq but they've been getting worse. I have essentially 3 types of bowel movements. 1. Normal (sometimes) 2. soft and amorphous (increasingly) 3. Cramping followed closely by explosive diarrhea. |

| | The ceremony was long and boring. Families were yelling and screaming I left with my degree conferred, a splitting headache and a noticeable limp.
Though I didn't very much enjoy the experience I'm glad to have finally finished a degree. Now I need to look for a master program and a job.
