Librarian Glasses and Cotton Eye Joe - Mood:Happy |
|
Tuesday June 24 200812:20:35 AM |
| So, tonight was the first night of VBS at my church. I, along with two of my friends, ended up working with the arts and crafts. It was pretty fun, considering all we had to do was string beads on some string for the kids to attach to their little plastic sunglasses that were handed out. Whenever we got through making them for the kids, the three of us made some for ourselves and got some of the sunglasses. The problem was that the glasses were made for little kids, so they didn't even touch our ears. They kept on falling down and we looked like librarians, haha. Then, we went to the sanctuary, where Waygon, our youth minister, and some of the other youth were teaching songs to the kids. After they were done, we danced to Cotton Eye Joe and Sadie Hawkins Dance. Waygon had to teach his signature move to the 5 year-olds: the "Crank the Lawnmower". Wow, that was fun. lol |
