Have a track meet tomorrow - Mood:Bad

We have a track meet tomorrow and it's probably gonna take all day.... but what's bad is that I'm running an event!
I have to run the 800 meter
I suck at running so why the hell would they put me in a running event??
So any advise before I go out tomorrow and get beat badly?.
