Have you ever felt like a wounded cow

Ancestry results! - Mood:Good

Nothing too surprising, but many suspicions confirmed

I took the DNA test mostly because my Mexican great-grandfather was an orphan so we know nothing about his ancestry. Looking at photos of him I suspected he was highly Native American, and these results confirm that.

I'm a little surprised how accurate my previous assessment of my ancestry is: about 3/4 British/Irish and 1/4 Mexican (mix of Iberian and Native American)

A higher French/German score than I was expecting. I suspect it's mostly Dutch as I've seen some Dutch names in my grandmother's genealogy research.

Fun! I wonder if I can get others in my family to take the test and compare with them.
