I`ve got five hundred in twenties and I got a ton of great ideas. I`m really worked up. I`m on a good mixture, I don`t want to waste it.

Well, you're a bad parent. And suck it. - Mood:Good |

| | A parent yelled at me for telling her child not to climb on the metal railing of the pool. She snapped and said "I can do it!" but alas, that is my job, and her kids were all brats, so she can suck it. Who else should suck it today? I'm in a bitter mood. BITTER!

I love sitting on my butt and getting paid for it. - Mood:Good |

| | Yesterday a total of two kids showed up at the pool on my shift. I read for the remaining 3 hours that they weren't there. Pretty nice, huh? My pool partner had to get a sub for this morning. All of them are a little bit younger and try to text message me for work information. I ignore it entirely. The one that is working today is the biggest culprit of them all. My partner and I have a great rhythm with how we run the pool, so I hope this goes okay. In other news, my oxycontin induced poetry is apparently the best thing since sliced bread according to poetry.com. Wouldn't it be wild if I actually did win something? That site has always seemed fishy to me, which is why I never posted anything. But with a poem brought on by my oral surgery, I figured I had nothing to lose and big laughs to gain. What's for breakfast? What are eggs over easy/medium/hard? |

Lord, I`m Discouraged - Mood:Good |

| | I did remember to update my blog. So far it's been one week! The Hold Steady have recently put their whole album online for a listen, and they yet again have that one heart breaking song. I guess I am down in the dumps. Money is an issue as always and it just really scares me. I just feel really trapped. In other news, I am not working again today. The girl I work with got rained out on Sunday so she will take my shift today to catch up on some hours. Fine by me, I'm comfy in my pajamas! What makes a town turn on the tornado sirens? Is it the wind speed? An eyewitness of a twister within a mile? I would really like to know. Ours went off this past weekend and it wasn't even windy. |
